  • See the spam Another tribute to how stupid the general population of the internet is. Some slut, or guy exploiting a slut, is making some cheezoid web site for porn. I don't care, and I sure as hell don't want this garbage in my email box. This, combined recently with the CyberPromo liars assuring me I was removed from their lists, and this is the thanks I get: spammed again. I've been assured I'm going to automatically be removed from this list if I don't reply. Odd, if I didn't sign up for a list, how can I be on a list? And why should I be removed from a list I'm not even on? See how the lying begins? This email is all over the place. I'm going to have to register a TON of complaints. Fortunately, folks take porno spam very seriously. Look at the headers and see for yourself. Also, notice the obviously forged IP address. I guess those sorts of mistakes happen when you type with one hand. I'm not even going to bother wasting my time with a full spammer-slamming session, I'll just send invoices out and turn them over to collections agencies.

    UPDATE

Date: 06/03 1:40 PM Received: 06/03 7:20 PM From: Mail AutoResponder, babesrus@juno.com To: Chris Pickett, cpicket@ns.net
  • See the spam Apparently Tiffany really wants me to see her, because after I purposely filled out her request for the page wrong, she chose to send me the address anyways. What if I was under 18? What if I don't want this crap? I was given this address I don't want because of my complaint. Of course, the headers clearly show CyberPromo using fraudulent "juno.com" addresses. Look at the follow-up spam to see for yourself. Hey, as long as these rogue sites keep implicating each other, why should I care? I really wish they would keep me OUT of their little pissing contests. They all need to be killed. One of the emal addresses I complained to was an "unknown user". It was: ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... while talking to answerme.com.: >>> RCPT To: <<< 550 ... User unknown 550 ... User unknown Internic wants to be informed of domains that do not have postmaster accounts. I now must fulfill my duty as a responsible net citizen and report this horrible infraction. Score 1 against CyberPromo! BUT WAIT! There's more. Now Microsoft is being pulled into this as a forged return address for the remove request. Here's all the proof you need to see:
  • See the spam It also lists Sprint and AOL as paths too. I am too tired to screw with this, but it is obvious that is NOT AOL that is involved in this scam.

    UPDATE 6/5/1997

Apparently Tiffany just won't take "no" for an answer. That must make her popular with the boys. Yet again she sent me the URL, this time forging a different return address.
  • See the spam While we're discussing this, "hotmail.com" is proving their swift actions and removing themselves of responsibility. I do not want to slam hotmail.com, but I was mainly emailing them to inform them of what was going on. It appears that they sent me a form letter, as apparently very many people have complained about this user. I'd show you what this looks like, but I updated my emailer and it took the liberty of totally obliterating my "inbox", and so 90 OTHER emails that I need just for day to day business are fried as well. Thanks, Claris Emailer 2.0! It does the upgrade fine on 2 other Macs, but my work machine doesn't...

  • See the spam Apparently some spammer or some other entity has decided I want porn, as I seem to be dealing with an awful lot of porno spam now. I've been spammed by this site before. I am forwarding the complaint to MCI and the correct postmasters. I have confirmed the email DNS entry and a traceroute showed MCI being dragged into this. I also have a lot of other people to notify.

  • See the spam Gee, just what I want hitting my OFFICE during the weekend. What do these spammers think? What, if it festers for a few days, they can avoid a flame back? WRONG! I'll flame these idiots anyplace and any time. Plus, both of my business partners frown on spamming and spammers, so you can expect this entire site to start really taking off, which is unfortunate, but it is necessary. Of course, I'm noticing that spammers are assuming that the majority of users are using a web browser for their emailer as well, so they try and be cute and add plenty of flawed HTML to help you get "off" on the information super highway. Of course, the bogus Hotmail.com account, or at least a now-cancelled Hotmail account.

  • See the spam Gee, why do I continue to get this garbage? I certainly don't want it. On the plus side, this spammer doesn't know how to hide his tracks. This makes it very easy to register complaints. However, it did try to forge the originating address, but did a very poor job of it, especially since it's a bogus domain Let's do some whois look-ups:
  • See the lookups Let's also not overlook the poor HTML. This idiot assumes everyone is retarded enough to use Netscape as an emailer. Not here! Of course, there is also no remove function, helping to make this very illegal.

  • See the spam Oh gee, how clever. Since you have to be 21 or over to get in, they sent this uwanted garbage to me on the 21st of the month. Ooh, symbolic. More porno crap. Why am I getting this garbage? I clearly don't want it. Netcom must be pretty tolerant of this sort of behavior. And I get this crap at work too. None of my email addresses are safe. Of course, no spam seems complete today without bad HTML, and assuming we must all be using are web client to handle email as well. So, let's see who these porno-peddlers are, shall we?

  • See the spam Well, I've been targeted out as a porn pusher by this little pervert. I am not running an adult site, so where the hell does this idiot think he gets off sending my this crap? The only difference from the norm is that this sicko is not using a mailing list, nor is it very good about hiding its tracks. That makes it easier for me to wreak havoc on the spammer. He wants me to push his porno services, but wants to pay me for refering degenerates like himself over to his sites. I don't want to have anything to do with little perverts and porno sites. Fortunately, this little deviant has the audacity to post a 1-800 number to call if I have any questions, such as, "Why is this crap in my mailbox?": 800-685-9236

    Update September 16, 1997

    Subject: Sex $ells! Date: Received: 09/16 1:49 PM From: dunuth@iaavc.com To: cpickett@MEDIACITY.COM
  • See the spam Apparently this pervert is doing so well that he's choosing to spam again. Actually, he must not be doing too well because he is spamming again. This person doesn't even learn from his own mistakes. On the plus side, the path is the same, so I'm not going to bother doing new lookups. I would like to comment on their remove function that doesn't work. Since I requested removal, they said I'd never hear from them again. OK, then explain this one? I tell you, spammers are about as bright as a solar powered flashlight. And as proof of that statement: Subject: $ex $ells! Date: Received: 09/16 2:48 PM From: dunuth@iaavc.com To: cpickett@MEDIACITY.COM
  • See the spam I don't really think there is much else to say. However, I probably should post their 800 number. This is a great way to complain: 800-685-9236

  • See the spam Gee, another supposed free porno site. Obviously by viewing the spam, they have a large amount of AOL addresses to spam. This also means a lot of children are going to see this sort of garbage, which will lead to censorship laws being passed. Of course, more garbage going through PSI. They just don't seem to care anymore. Let's do the work-up:

  • See the spam Oh, isn't that sweet. She's been looking for me, and she used a smiley. DIE BITCH! Short, simple and to the point. Oh then the blatant lies of "my computer crashed....found your name on a People Search", which is a lie since my work address is not registered. OR, 411 is harvesting addresses and then selling them. She's looking for me, I'm not looking for her. Talk about looking for love in all the wrong places. Note the disposable "hotmail" account. Typical. I'm sure this account is already deleted, and PSI is oblivious to illegal activities going through their services. Let's do some "whois" and call this page closed:

  • See the spam Some porno pusher selling vidoes via a web site. See the spam for the information. I was able to retrieve this information from their site. Thank goodness Netscape can allow me to disable graphics. This makes billing very easy. E.S.P., Inc. 158 Linwood Plaza Fort Lee, N.J. 07024-1119 (201) 592-8300 Order Desk: (800) 592-8303 Fax: (201) 592-7696 Of course, this has a "remove" address over at "answerme.com", so this could be in a CyberPromo page. Yet another address to add to my "redistribution of spam" list.

  • See the spam First, Juno.com is a banned domain due to their blatant lack of concern regarding spam. Second, this is CyberPromo trash. Third, CyberPromo used SMTP hijacking to send this spam via Earthlink Fourth: Earthlink doesn't seem too concerned about this. Fifth: This is porno spam. Live girls eh? I suppose there's no market for dead girls. Why does this garbage continue to come to my mailbox? I wonder what the IP address resolves to: www.xxxtiffany.com, more or less. All links point to this site. Time for whois look-ups. >whois livgrilesgood.com No match for "LIVGRILESGOOD.COM". No suprises there. This makes this entry quick. Earthlink and PSI are involved. Juno should be involved due to the address forgery, but they don't care, so why bother?

  • See the spam Well, this amazing piece of garbage was sent only via spamming domains with little to no forging as best I can tell. This is also IEMMC garbage, which clearly shows IEMMC is not honoring remove requests. Short, lame, vague. Typical porno spam. The thing that makes this rather amusing is that They are attempting to make it appears as though I've been conversing with them via the "Re:" portion of the subject. That won't get anywhere because of my mail filters, so it's immediately tagged for "processing". Great, now I have to go add this update to several pages.

Typically, spams list REAL sites, but apparently not all spammers are even that smart. I their ploy is that somehow I intercepted this misdirected email between "gals", like I'm privvy to some little secret. Not going to work.

This does save me a lot of time. They also include a remove function, but as always, I seriously doubt it will work. Let's just "whois" the hosting site and be done with this one.

  • See this spam Oh boy, more porno spam. Just what I don't want. Plus an invalid remove address. Am I surprised? No. It sure makes it tough to get off of mailing lists one never signed up for when hte sender/remove addresses are fake, cancelled, forged, or otherwise not working. No surprise, since this originated via Earthlink. Subject: ADULTS ONLY!! Date: 09/05 7:02 AM Received: 09/05 8:00 AM From: 24 HOUR PLAYMATES, roxanne777@ix.netcom.com To: roxanne777@ix.netcom.com
  • See this spam More of the same. But different. Just kidding, it's the same thing, except this time they sent it via Netcom.
  • See the lookups Actually, at closer inspection, it's hard to tell if this came from Earthlink or Netcom, so I'll just complain to both. Only one look-up required since I'm reporting the spam, or spams, once.

  • See the look-ups They also go on to say this is a private mailing list. I'm positive this is a lie, unless they mean some private perverted individual is spamming via this list. • See this spam Wonderful. Gay party line chat. Oh, and it's free on Mondays IF you have Sprint's Free Monday package. Since I am not gay and I don't have Sprint, this service definately seems like something I have absolutely zero interest in. Just because this service is free doesn't mean it isn't spam. It is still spam. But these spammers want to be equal opportunists, they even have a straight party chat line on another line. Or, if you're into this sort of thing, you can have a tarot card reading on yet another line. You'd think these people would have seen it in their cards that spamming is not a good thing. That just goes to show you how reputable these people are. They want me to save this message for the future. Well, no, I won't save it, however I will place it with this report so others may be alerted to this spam. If you want the numbers, see the spam

  • See this spam No. I don't remember her/him/whatever/. This little deviant is telling me to use the IEMMC non-functioning remove feature, so I also have to report this on my IEMMC report page. They are also using "tricks" to make this suddenly appear legitimate and I accept it. They have a remove feature, but at first glance, I can not tell if it is a CyberPromo domain. The lookups will tell me that. They also say that by scrolling down into the body of the message, I am electronically signing it, atesting I want this and am of legal age. Won't hold up in court, as I don't want spam. At the beginning they state I've requested this stuff in the past. No, I have not.
