Do not sign me up for any mail lists. Studio42 does not accept such unsolicited business. Also, since I've recently been getting a flood of such e-mail from various people and organizations I don't wish to deal with, their names will end up here, along with their home and business addresses, and phone numbers, whenever possible.
Please realize that 99.9% of internet users DON'T want your crap in our e-mail boxes.
Minimum fine for violation of this policy allows me to legally bill/invoice for $500 and this can be escalated to a court of law.

Subject: INTERNATIONAL COMPANY SEEKS HELP!!
Date: 02/18 22:00

  • See the spam If a company is international and is making billions, why the hell should they need help? When you stop and think about it, they are OBVIOUSLY successful. However, since this person is LYING out his ass, he has the need to send spam. Notice how simple it is to get to the truth without even having to scratch the surface. Of course, there's nothing I hate more than coming into the office and having to deal witha 20K spam. I did something different on this spam, as I did some rather heavy mark-up to it to keep it as true to the authors original intent to defraud me and others. I'm certainly not lazy, but I don't feel like taking the time out of my life to hammer this idiot like I usually do. I notified PSI and MCI since I could easily find their involvement in the spam. I'm not pointing blame at either PSI or MCI as I know this was an abuse of their network and they can then do the hard work of squashing this little disease to society. I find it odd how now that I've requested removal from CyberPromo bogus mailing lists that my spam load has increased. Just shows that CyberPromo is in the business of providing means to defraud others. This makes them an accessory and makes them liable for the crimes of the spammers they provide service to. However, there is a phone call to annoy: 1-801-350-8718 I'm not sure if it's Michael Bishop or Bob Anderson, but both are now scums in my database.

  • See the spam Same spam as before, another MLM scam. Don't people have other things to do? Nothing better than a 20K spam to suck away that hard drive space. Let's see if I can find this idiot's address via some of those look-up services.

  • See the spam Who is this idiot? Why am I suddenly being bombarded with spam at work? If this guy wants to save his life and his property, it is strongly suggested that he stay the hell out of my mailboxes or I'll take personal pleasure in marching up to his residence and pounding the crap out of him. Of course, stupid is as stupid does, and Mr. Stupid sent his work address. Could be his home. Either way, we know where to find this loser: 1-405-330-5379 Douglas C. Parcells 3126 S. Boulevard Suite 147 Edmond, OK 73013 USA Of course, I always want to hear about how to stop crime, especially by someone sending my illegal material. Obviously not one of those "practice what they preach" folks. Lots of address forgery, and then he sends it through PSINet I'm sure so as to not abuse the spamming services of the Nancynet machines.
  • See the look-ups They close informing me that they will visit again. This is obviously a pre-meditated spam. I may as well send a bill now. Ther was a bad ploy to forge a domain, but since the IP address of the forged domain matched a PSI IP address, that was simple enough to spot. Again, PSI is NOT one of my prefered service providers, but I simply hate it when some other systems' resources are abused in such manners. PSI should not have to deal with this sort of garbage, but the spammers keep coming up with new ways to commit fraud

  • See the spam Nothing I like than after 18 hours of work, coming HOME to some spammer who decided that my personal account would be something nifty to spam. Yet another NancyNet spammer, which also went through AGIS.net, which amazingly enough went through MCI. I'm surprised at the part about it going through MCI. No point in complaining to Agis.net, since their policy is to ignore complaints. I'm going right to the idiots who run these domains. And here they are:
  • See the look-ups Just a tip: THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GET PUBLICITY. It almost seems like these spammers are trying to earn a place here. I'm about ready to declare "ctynet.com" a spammer site, mainly since it went through Nancynet. It's bad enough to have to deal with this, but then after a LONG day like today, having to deal with spam is the LAST thing I want to do. However, being the dedicated spam fighter that I am, I churned out this entry for you, the other spam haters, who need to be aware of such activities, no matter how tiny or how stupid. And for what thanks? Those guest book entries. Everytime I see a guestbook entry that supports my site, I get a boost knowing that I'm doing this for a greater cause.

  • See the spam Apparently once wasn't enough, so send it to TWO of my accounts and annoy me twice. Ya know, this recent SURGE of crap is really pissing me off. One guy wanted to scold me for my use of what he considered crude language, but I personally find such crude language to be much more appropriate for conveying what I am feeling right now, which is much greater than just anger and annoyance. This surge of spam has me pissed off, and if you think my language is crude, you can go into a dark corner and perform un-natural and immoral acts with yourself as you go through a bout of cranial-rectalitus. So, apparently the guy giving the OK for this spam is: Contact: Fred Josephs at 516-739-0348 or Email: aqrj97a@prodigy.com Another contact: Myron A. Baker, Universal Medical Systems, 813-535-2022 And I get to send a $1000 invoice to: Universal Medical Systems, Inc. 13825 Icot Blvd. Suite 613 Clearwater, FL 34620 (813) 535-2022 Got the address via their web page. How convenient! Why bust my ass if I don't have to? Call late, call often, call collect. Always use an operator to assist in your collect call as it costs that much more! SMTP servers in the headers check out. Appears it went from one school to another, probably by either using a bang "!" or another @ command, such as: lamer@wanker.com@spammers.net Then forge send and return addresses, which is fairly easy to do. Of course the domains forged are bogus too, but that shouldn't surprise anyone at this point in time. So, now I have to alert MCI, both these schools, Prodigy and I suppose I should invoice CyberPromo as it appears to be their style, but the headers suggest otherwise. BUT WAIT, there's more! Let's contact the so called investment company: fstmadison@aol.com - Oh, an AOL'er. Too damn bad! First Madison Securities, Inc. 551 Madison Ave. New York, NY 10022 Might as well alert their web page author: kevinjm@ix.netcom.com I don't feel like stealing the web page to garner other potential addresses. I now have to do "whois" lookups on both of the EDU domains, which could result in those domains being suspended temporarily for investigation. I think all of the complaining students due to network outage should get some attention. As of Noon Pacific Daylight Savings Time, I can not get a connection going to do whois lookups, so I'll have to do additional page updates tonight. Of course, if they intend to continue spamming, a spell checker might be worth looking into for the months to come.

    UPDATE 6/13/96

Appears that I can do "whois" lookups again. Yesterday I just could not get anywhere at the place I normally telnet into, and Internic was just as bad. Today it appears to be working OK.

  • See the spam Wow, 5 days without spam, then some idiot I've previously told to stay away decides it's to send me some unwanted spam again. My web sites are regularly getting a couple of thousand hits a day, so I don't think I need this organization to promote my site. So, let's do a trace route:
  • See the look-ups We have an address: Digital Gold (DIGITALGOLD-DOM) 11054 Ventura Blvd #203 Studio City, CA 91604 USA But let's post their phone number too: (818)828-7400 Remember, call collect using an operator's assistance!

  • See the spam This person apparently doesn't have time for MLM scams. Odd, neither do I. Can someone please tell me with this no-life spammer sent me this garbage? Don't answer, I'll tell you why: because the spammer is running a MLM scam. The hint? Simple, it tried to deny being an MLM. No, this did not come from AOL, it came from PSI, which recently appears to be a victim of spammers sending their scams. Some other odd stuff was in the headers. But why type about it when you call the 800 number: (800) 811-2141 CODE #15043 HOWEVER, remember when you enter the code, the spamer sometimes gets a few cents. Talk for a while, tell it how much you hate spam. Nothing better than getting spammed at work after hours. Of course, silly me, checking all of my email around the clock, home or at the office.

  • See that spam No subject. CyberPromo. No point in even complaining as nothing works over there. I'll investigate later, but this is just a plain and simple waste of my time. No subject means instant flame when this arrives at home as I reject all emails with no subject. However, I think the spammer is counting on that so I'll auto- delete the automated rudeness. How can you tell when a spammer is lying? Simple, it's in your emailer's inbox. They are proud to announce their bogus and non-described service that will automatically promote my site. Odd, I'm doing that for free all by myself. I'm not goint to waste a lot of time on this one. See the spams, you'll understand. I'm really getting sick and tired of dealing with spam. My energy to maintain this site is at a low due to the fact that nobody wants to be responsible and the problem isn't getting resolved. Doesn't anybody want a real job anymore? Fairly straight-forward, you can see how the service providers I use parse headers differently, which is good for educational purposes. The obligatory "whois" lookup:
  • See the look-ups When I find this bastard, they are getting invoiced. $1000.

  • See that spam But this was recieved TODAY. Idiots. Apparently they just won't learn. Apparently they are running a free service because 149 of the search engines they claim to register your stuff onto do not exist. Oh well, not my way of running business. One more spam and they have earned their own page on the Deadbeats' Hall of Lame.
