  • See the spam A spam site makes first contact with me, only to discover that I don't even want to be bothered by this new brand of spam. What they did was send me a "poll" to discover my attitude about spam. I guess they saw my anti-spam pages, and then sent me this "test spam". I'm so far rather lenient to this site mainly because it was very late when i got it(look at the time) and I was tired. However, that does not stop me from getting around to thrashing them. Let the punishment begin!! Let's start with the headers. Holy crap, does this bounce all over the place! • See the spam You'll notice their spamming yet another account of mine. It's quite obvious these bottom feeders are now scanning ANYTHING they can get their grubby paws on to try and scam someone. This illiterate moron(his post was filled with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes) is trying to get a large chunk of your business with some "exchange" program. Of course, this only works if your produce or manufactor a physical product. Since I am SERVICE oriented, this doesn't apply to me. Lots of promises of $100,000 a day. I love this one: If your philosophy matches ours, then we'll fill you in with the details. In other words: if I'm a lying sack of crap who wants to spam others, then I can try and scam enough people to make myself some bucks, provided there are that many retarded people with email. I'm not even going to bother reading the whole thing. The initial spelling errors and typical spam format and wording tells me that this is a scam. Look what a "whois" turned up. I hadn't seen this before.

  • See the spam Oh boy. Free stuff. Just what I want, people who want to send me CONSUMER stuff for free. Hell, if you ain't pro audio, computer or data communications, LEAVE ME ALONE! At least there is a remove function. I have no idea if it will work. I'm sure they will resend my email address out so someone else can spam me. Basically, this is what I call an escalating spam. Once they snare you, you will continue to be bombarded with more and more spam. What they are asking is "Do you want to be spammed", and if you answer "yes" according to their instructions, you'll be spammed by various manufacturors. No thanks. Let's investigate.

  • See the spam Well, I'm no friend of this idiot, and since he is a spammer, I certainly don't want to even associate with this idiot. I even followed his remove instructions, which resulted in this: Subject: INTERNET INCOME INVITATION Sent: 03/12/1997 16:25 Received: 03/12/1997 17:49 From: dave@ibb.com To: Friend@public.com
  • See the spam What is this? Some internet billboard load of crap. Lots of promises of guaranteed hits and income, mainly the income. Yeah right, you lying sack of crap. Spamming me at work, stupid idiot. Oh, and this little offer is only valid to people he invited. Yeah, it means a whole lot when you put me on a mailing list I didn't sign up for. Out of hope, I once again followed the remove instructions and these are the results: Subject: INTERNET INCOME INVITATION Sent: 3/13/97 22:20 Received: 3/14/97 00:01 From: root@ibb.com To: howdydowdy@ringling.com
  • See the spam What I want to know is how the hell did I get invited to have the opportunity to get ripped of? Time to investigate. I'll only highlight the things that seemed odd to me. I think you can see my aggressive anti-spam methods.
  • See the look-ups Of course, there is the special number to call. Call early, call from a pay phone, and make sure you complain for a LONG LONG time: INTERACTIVE CONSULTING SYSTEMS, 10300 4TH ST.,#200 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA 1-800-477-6885, Or call collect during business hours: 909-477-6820, FAX 909-477-6835.

As you can see, this little genius spammed me at work. Now, one of the things I do is
SELL modems. In fact, Los Altos Networks carries the USRobotics line of modems, so why
the hell do I need some idiot like this trying to sell me modems? He also claims he
has the fastest modems on the market. Uhm, hate to say this, but with the new X2
technology from USR and the 56K-flex technology from Rockwell and Lucent, 33.6 is
certainly not the fastest on the market.

He claims that the last time they offered their friends this deal, they couldn't
satisfy their orders. I already know they are lying because people don't spam
their friends. They probably couldn't satisfy the court orders placed against them,
most likely. But if this is how they treat their friends, I don't see how this
    company can stay in business.

They refuse to mention the name of the modem, which leads me to believe that this
may be a fencing ring for them to peddle stolen merchandise. Plus, they want your
credit card number. Sorry, not gonna happen. So, Unabomber, if you're still out
there, send something to this cheap technology peddling company:

    211 Logan Ave. North

  • See the spam Seems I could save a lot on travel by hunting you down and kicking your pathetic little ass until you are too crippled to spam any more. This would also save the police and FBI the travel expenses in order to do the same thing. Gee, I could run my own scamming travel business for just $149? Gee, wouldn't it be cheaper just to use a TRAVEL AGENT? I have a feeling this spammer suffers memory loss when it takes a dump. Remember, "savetrees.com" is a CyberPromo doman, a sworn emeny of those who hate spam. What is interesting is all their remove and abuse accounts are no longer valid. I assume they figure that if they IGNORE the complaints, they will go away. Wrong philosophy, as I have the time and effort to make their lives a living hell.

  • See the spam Great, this loser is peddling drugs to help you lose weight. Hey, why not just sell crank over the internet? According to some folks I know, you lose a LOT of weight while on that stuff. Why should I care about these so caleed FDA approved drugs? I can burn more calories and lose more weight by ranting and raving and churning out anti-spam entries such as this one. Call collect, call often, cuss and swear at: 1-602-503-0266 And here's the proof that CyberPromo is involved: The remove address: econo@savetrees.com Why is it I demanded removal, then was assured I was removed, and now I get this? Because CyberPromo is an organization of lairs, thieves and scammers. It is time to involve authorities to stop them.

  • See the spam Very interesting. Actually, interesting is a wrong term. Annoying is a better term It appears that CyberPromo, who this loser boasts to be from, is back in business and cranking out the scams. Gee, join a club, waste your money, get two over-valued crappy "gifts" and then save on certain travel stuff. Sure, you save if you want all the crappy flights and trips.
