Anti-Spam Abuse-Preventing Email Form
Need to contact the Anti-Spam staff at Studio42? Fill out this form.
Due to constant abuse, mainly from AOL members, the Anti-Spam staff at Studio42 is no longer accepting direct email from the general public. This is mainly because of folks who selected the MAILTO link and sent their spams and expecting help without first requesting help and getting permission to send the spam. As this site clearly shows, I have a rather large spam load and I don't need to be bogged down with still more spam from those wanting help. So, I've got a few rules that apply to the usage of this form. Using this form indicates compliance with these rules.
Rules:
- Do not use this form to forward spams you've received. They will not travel well in this form and will be rendered useless. If you are approved for this kind of assistance, you'll be informed what email address to forward your received spam to.
- Compliments on this site would be excellent additions to the Guestbook and/or web board.
- I get over 500 emails on average per day, 10 times that if you count the invalids my mail server bounces. Please take that into consideration before sending off this form.
- If you're asking for help or advice, you'll either get it or you'll be informed otherwise. No reply should be interpretted as a "NO".
- Again, for spam-specific help(tracing a spammer), get permission before forwarding the spam you've received. ASK to see if I will help you. If I grant permission, you may THEN send the COMPLETE spam you've received with FULL headers. If you just send without getting permission, I'll complain to your ISP and get your account terminated. Why? Because you just spammed me.
- If you're using Microsoft Oulook and/or Outlook Express, I will NEVER see your email. Due to this emailer's bad habit of generating file attachments(such as HTML or pointless .dat files, or other un-necessary garbage), I filter all Outlook and Outlook Express directly into the delete bin and auto-generate a message. I will not apologize for YOUR inconvenience as this has been a HUGE inconvenience to me.
- If you post your received spams to the Anti-Spam Web Board, you WILL get help from someone, and usually very quickly. This is probably your best option.
If you are one of the dilweeds who sent me unsolicited email or are someone thinking about it, drop dead.
Also, if you've got a complaint about my anti-spam feelings or want to scold me for being justifiably sick of spam, I have the following words of wisdom for you:
YOU'VE COME TO THE WRONG PLACE!
