Some AOL'er decided that the guestbook would be a good place to try and look cool. Since they didn't place this in the web board or the Anti-Guestbook, I have chosen to remove their insight and post it here for all to laugh at.

The choice of the spam generation?
Someone tried to flood the guestbook with spam. Fortunately I was online and able to combat the situation and was able to stop the problem while in progress. 11 IDENTICAL postings. I'm sure that number would have grown higher if I hadn't been around. Obviously this knuckle-dragger figured out how to use the "Back" button and use that to easily repost.

While apparently trying to spam on the behalf of Pepsi, this is merely a spammer attempting to stir up troupble. Pepsi has been alerted that someone is spamming in their name. While I doubt Pepsi will actually do anything, it only takes a few seconds to alert them to abusive activities.

    Seems Mr. Personality here was able to utilize the back and submit buttons and do a pointless attack on the guestbook. All efforts were thwarted within minutes as I always have a hot back-up standing by, so nothing is ever lost.

    I must be making a difference to become the target of such attacks. I must have nuked a spammer pretty recently who desperately needed their account terminated. I'm always happy to help.

    In light of new and possibly amusing things that have landed in my inbox, I am choosing to document everything.
  • My original complaint.
  • The perfectly acceptable response. I now consider the issue resolved.
  • Contact from a cop?: Unlikely, things don't add up.
  • My response to the supposed cop: As you can see, while I am cooperative, the individual has no credibility with me. Let me put it this way, unless they intend to pay me for my time, then they can just go away.
  • Cop Responds: And cop doesn't pay attention.
  • My response to the cop: indicating I'm done with this and have moved on. This individual clearly intends to waste my time.
