I have just started using http://www.searchgateway.com/finde.htm and 
have had some success using the reverse phone search since almost all
spam has a phone number. On the spam with toll free numbers, I have
occasionally called up and talked or even played music for a long period
of time. This costs the spammers directly since they pay for the call,
and all that I have called have voicemail. I have thought about calling
the non-toll free numbers collect and seeing what happens. These are
probably both best done from pay phones. I don't know how legal these
methods are either, so do it at your own risk. DEATH TO SPAMMERS!!!!
