Deadbeats' Hall of Lame
2009 Lance Trimble Edition
Do not sign me up for any mail lists. Studio42 does not accept such unsolicited business. Also, since I've recently been getting a flood of such e-mail from various people and organizations I don't wish to deal with, their names will end up here, along with their home and business addresses, and phone numbers, whenever possible.
Please realize that 99.9% of internet users DON'T want your crap in our e-mail boxes.
Minimum fine for violation of this policy allows me to legally bill/invoice for $500 and this can be escalated to a court of law.

Oh what fun. Spam farm on GNAX, domain registered via PlanetOnline and registered to
a Hotmail drop.
Registered person is Lance Trimble of Salt Lake City.

Hotmail fails to enforce their Terms of Service, despite directing me to read their
terms of service, which show this is in violationof their terms of service.
See the denial
Taking the step further, Hotmail wants to pretend to be concerned, so they prompt me
for more information, almost indicating Hotmail wants to take action, but not quite.
See the action
Hotmail bounces the "additional information" I send, because, here is the kicker:
it appears to be spam!

Lance Trimble is back again for some crap I could care less about. Hosted on Limestonenetworks,
and registered through PlanetOnline. Still using a Hotmail drop.
See the lookups
Hotmail earns a rather stock denial since they refuse to take action at all, despite
the spammer being in violation of Hotmail terms.
See the denial
Hotmail steps up the denial and in my opinion, appears to be flat out refusing to take
action against the spammer's Hotmail domain contact drop box, which ensures the spammer
will be able to bounce around.

Back of GNAXHotmail domain drop. Still using PlanetOnline for a registrar.

Hotmail earns a denial for not properly reading the complaint and otherwise ignoring
my concerns.

Moving to new grounds to spam from, Lance Trimble is still using Hotmail for his domain drops
and PlanetOnline for his domain registrar.
I think I found a reliable signature that was triggered via my test filter. I changed
the filter from "log" to "reject". That should stop him cold here.

Carlos at Hotmail asks me to send him the full message with full headers. It is obvious
that I have already done that because it's in his canned response. He also wants the
description, which I also provided(Hotmail domain drop, with WHOIS to suport that included).
But it's obvious Hotmail is protecting this spammer for some strange reason. They used to take
action against spammers who would use Hotmail drops for their domains.

Setting up shop in a new location. Still using Hotmail for his domain contact
and PlanetOnline for his registrations.
I'll see if I can find new tactics and filters to stay one step ahead of him.

The ISP hosting this dirtbag refuses my LART because it looks like spam. That's because
I want them to investigate their spammer, so "have it back". Seems they are OK with their
clients sending it out, but don't want to hear about it. Denial logged.

Seems the ISP is taking a better interest in this now that I've managed to get through
their filters. Thank goodness, but I don't like how this is going.

Apparently Hotmail wants to make a token showing as they've done before. I doubt it will
result in action. Jericho is asking for all the stuff that would get blocked by their
filters, so I've provided Hotmail with URL's to the spams instead.
See the action
Hotmail seemed to get a clue, but apparently it was on short term loan, as Hotmail flunkie
Lotiz S. blew it big time and earns Hotmail another denial.

Lance Trimble is allowed to keep his Hotmail drop as he reveals domain after domain
on different providers. All domains so far have been registered via PlanetOnline.
See the lookups
The hosting provider gives me notice that the account has been suspended. Seems just about
everyone except Hotmail and PlanetOnline seem to feel that this guy's behavior is bad.
PlanetOnline would be smart to just take his money and nuke his accounts for violation,
and Hotmail could actually stop all this behavior by nuking his domain drop. In the meantime,
we can see ISP's such as XLHost.com DO take complaints seriously and DO act against spammers.

Rhea from Hotmail plays the excuse game, and is making the token action play. It will result
in Hotmail earning a denial shortly.
