Deadbeats' Hall of Lame
Remington-Hall Edition

WARNING!

Do not sign me up for any mail lists. Studio42 does not accept such unsolicited business. Also, since I've recently been getting a flood of such e-mail from various people and organizations I don't wish to deal with, their names will end up here, along with their home and business addresses, and phone numbers, whenever possible.
Please realize that 99.9% of internet users DON'T want your crap in our e-mail boxes.
Minimum fine for violation of this policy allows me to legally bill/invoice for $500 and this can be escalated to a court of law.

This page created on March 3, 1998 for a three strikes violator

And now, without further ado, Studio42 presents the:

  • See the spam While the company being spammed for may have tons of money, this just proves that you can't buy a clue. TONS of bad HTML, which is too bad because it has rendered this spam almost unreadable. I guess these spammers are assuming everyone is a lamer and uses Netscape or whatever web client as their emailer as well. They have changed their name because they've been caught spamming before. Looks like they'll be caught spamming again. Remington-Hall Capital Corporation (formerly Universal Fuels) 1401 Elm St., Ste. 1818 Dallas, TX 75202-2925 Phone: (214) 749-4600 Fax: (214) 749-4608

  • See the spam Remington-Hall Capital Corporation has once again chosen to spam me, despite the fact that this is going to result in a kill for me. Their other spam is right here for you to look at. Strike TWO! Lots of crappy HTML make this document both difficult to read as plain text, and crappy to look at in a web browser. Tip: Never trust an investment company that must spam and/or forge header information. If their dishonest in their advertising, then their business must be equally if not more dishonest.

    UPDATE: January 27, 1998

This update angers me. I am going to take this response at face value in that the ISP used to originate and relay really did not know they were being used as a spam relay. Still, if we want to show problems with spam, this is another fine example, as this spammer LIED to get access and then went ahead and sent out spam anyways.

  • See the spam I know this is a third-strike violation for this spammer. When I get the time, their spams will have their own special place here. So much bad HTML makes this spam barely readable. Amazing how they steal service and yet we're supposed to invest with them. Remington-Hall 1401 Elm St., Ste. 1818 Dallas, TX 75202-2925
