  • See the spam Netcom claims they had this drop box nuked, but it appears the downstream lied to them. Why does that not suprise me? See for yourself with this spam report at the Market Response Center. These idiots are trying to get me to buy stock in their company. Now I'd rather die of cancer than use their products or invest in their company

Special thanks to Juno for quickly terminating the spammer's drop boxes. They also included some boilerplate responses that I'm already aware of. I'm not fauling Juno for this. Kill #188

    UDPATE: July 17, 1998

UU.Net has finally gotten around to issuing a compilation ticket. LAME action. I really should count these as "others". Oh well, I'm being too lenient. August will see an end to that.

    UPDATE: October 22, 1999

A journalist wants me to assist in an article about these spammers. I'm not responding. Why? Well, I don't trust journalists and also because everything I know about these spammers is right here, therefore I don't need to assist. Also, I'm not volunteering my time for free and I don't want my request for payment to be used against me.

    Update: November 16, 1999

Obviously the journalist is getting frustrated by her blackout and feels that the webmaster account will be more sympathetic. Nope. The deadline means nothing to me. What she sees is all she is going to get. Also, I still won't work for free, and I seriously doubt she wants to fork over $300 for me to call her up and say "what you see on the site is everything".
