  • See the spam Well, I'm successful, but this spammer isn't. This tells me they want to rip me off. This is a Strike 2 violation, if not more. I'll have to hunt down their previous spam to link it. 1-800-636-6773 ext.4533 The spammers gladly identify themselves: The Griff Group P.O. Box 34 Newark, De. 19702 Phone(302)658-2108 Remove functions. Hmm, "griff" sounds real close to "grift", which means SCAM. Ever seen the movie: "The Grifters"? Well, it wasn't that good, but it pretty much lays it all out. This is kill #181

Well, if they were psychic, they would have sensed the negative impact this is going to have on them, which is no doubt why they have a 900-number. Second, if they were truly psychic, they would know I am against spam and would NOT have sent this to me. They even have a remove function for harvesting live email addresses. They also open up with a lie. See the spam yourself. This is a canned apology, and if they really meant it, they would use OPT-IN only. Yes, I was up in the middle of the night fighting spam, so that time is accurate. This is being counted as an "other". Why? Well, Earthlink did do some action-like actions, but they demoted themselves to being an "other" for not being able to recognize FORGED headers. This may have in fact come from Earthlink. Earthlink did carefully state that this is NOT a valid Earthlink account, which proves spammers forge information. Earthlink mainly sent this to cover their asses.
