Greetings from theglobe.com:

Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. Spammers are not
welcome in our community (see theglobe's Position on Spam and Commitment to
the
Responsible Use of Network Resources at
http://www.theglobe.com/common_includes/spam.html) and we appreciate your
vigilance.

As a passive conduit, theglobe.com cannot monitor user websites, but we
respond
to breaches of our user agreement when we learn of such behavior. Given that
the user appears to be breaching our user agreement, we have removed the
offending site.

However, although we have removed the site, please note that the spam itself
was not sent from our mail servers and is, therefore, beyond our control. We
urge you to contact the owners of the mail server from
which the spam originated. Encourage them to deploy spam filters like
theglobe.com does, and to check that their mail relays are closed. We pride
ourselves on being a long-standing, responsible member of the Internet
community and take the abuse of our resources very seriously.

Thanks for your e-mail; we very much appreciate your interest in and
commitment
to our community.

Regards,
Abuse Desk, theglobe.com
